Sunday 9 June 2019
1 Eagle Street
Climb for Cancer is a morning event and the first wave starts at 7 am.
Wave times and categories are:
Large Teams (7+ members)
Small Teams (2 to 6 members)
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your wave start time to check in and collect your timing device.
Step up to the challenge and join the fight against cancer! When registering you will need to let us know if you will be climbing as an individual or as part of a team. This is so we can ensure you are placed in the right wave and have the correct start time.
Regular price: $55 per person
Your registration fee only covers the cost of running the Climb for Cancer event. As Climb for Cancer is a fundraising event, we are 100 % committed to changing the future for those living with cancer by funding $170 000 for cancer research.
That’s why we’re asking every climber to fundraise a minimum of $100 to do their bit in the fight against cancer.
In fact, the average person raises much more than this and the team at Mater are here to help you get to your fundraising goal! Fundraising is fun and getting started is easy!

How does Climb for Cancer work?
Climb for Cancer is Brisbane’s most thrilling stair climb. Not only will you conquer 810 stairs and be rewarded with picturesque rooftop views (and the ultimate selfie) over the river city, but most importantly, your support of Climb for Cancer will help raise more than $170 000 to support ground-breaking immunotherapy research at Mater to harness the power of our immune systems to fight cancer.
It’s going to take grit, determination and commitment—but we'll have your back every step of the way, with plenty of tips and tricks to get the most from your training and fundraising in the lead up to the big day.
